Bach St John Passion

Crumlin Road Gaol, Belfast

We were proud to present Bach's masterpiece the St John Passion.

Conducted by Matthew Quinn the performance took place on Palm Sunday in the atmospheric and evocative setting of Crumlin Road Gaol. The work was sung in English, with orchestra. We were delighted to have a very impressive lineup of soloists - Zahid Siddiqui (Evangelist), Malachy Frame (Christ), Emma Morwood, Margaret Bridge, John Porter and Adam Reaney.

This was a Good Friday Agreement 25th anniversary event.

This concert was made possible by funding from the National Lottery through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. It was also supported by Deloitte and Energia Group / Power NI.
